In the press: New profiles with PlanetHugill and Fran Wilson's Meet the Artist

Ahead of my upcoming premieres at Cheltenham Music Festival 2022, I've had the opportunity to be interviewed and profiled for articles by two of my good colleagues, Robert Hugill and Fran Wilson.

The first, "New ways of working: composer Andrew Chen has two contrasting pieces at this year's Cheltenham Music Festival", provides a nice overview of the works I've been busy writing this year and the kinds of inspiration that went into them both.

The second, on Meet the Artist, is more of a deeper dive question-and-response into my own working practice, and a whole bunch of other subjects. It was a real pleasure to be able to put my thoughts into words in both of these articles (and makes a nice break from composing anyhow!) - do have a read if you have time.
